Around 35 participants attended with dedication.
As usual, friendliness and good spirits were the hallmarks of these two productive days, during which participants were introduced not only to the basics of enameling on steel and cast iron, but also to current topics such as enameling wastewater treatment and the evolution of food and sanitary standards. More unique subjects such as artistic and jewelry enameling were also presented.
The session concluded with a highly interesting visit to Emaillerie Rhénane in Ingwiller, a specialist in enameling cast iron, stainless steel, and steel for the household appliance sector (notably Lacanche, its main shareholder, as well as La Cornue), architecture, and signage. We would like to thank Mr. René and Mr. Olivier Grémaux for organizing the visit and for their warm welcome, which clearly reflected their passion for the enameling profession.
